Composition
The vaccine consists of two components with the same number of doses:
  • an inactivated viruses of Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (in form of suspension)
strain BG-04 ≥ 640 HAU in one dose;
strain GBK-2 ≥ 640 HAU in one dose.
  • a live vaccine virus of Rabbit Myxomatosis (freeze-dried)
strain “MAV/RK–13/20” ≥ 104,0 TCD50 in one dose.
Pharmaceutical form
Suspension and freeze-dried tablet.
Immunological properties
The introduction of the vaccine protects rabbits from contracting hemorrhagic disease and myxomatosis, and the active antibodies are formed 7-14 days after vaccination. The duration of immunity against hemorrhagic disease is no less than 12 months and no less than 9 months against myxomatosis.
Target species
Rabbits.
Indications
Preventative immunization of rabbits against Hemorrhagic Disease (RHD) and Myxomatosis. It has no medicinal properties.
Interaction with other drugs
Do not mix with medicinal and prophylactic drugs including those against diseases of rabbits and components of other batches of the vaccine LAPIMUN GEMІХ-3 against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease and Myxomatosis of rabbits.
Special precautions (during gestation and lactation period)
To avoid abortions due to animals’ stresses it is not recommended to vaccinate females 7 days prior to the parturition.
Route of administration and dosage
Before starting the vaccination procedure, shake the vial with the vaccine component in the form of a suspension thoroughly. Immediately before use, use a sterile syringe to take 5 ml of the suspension from the vial with the vaccine component in the form of a suspension and transfer it to the vial with the lyophilized vaccine component. Mix thoroughly until the lyophilized product is completely dissolved, then use a syringe to transfer the solution to the vial with the vaccine component in the form of a suspension. Repeat the operation to completely transfer the lyophilized vaccine.
For the purpose of disease prevention, the vaccine is administered to clinically healthy rabbits from the age of 28 days subcutaneously behind the shoulder blade in a dose of 1.0 ml with revaccination after three months with the vaccine LAPIMUN GEMIX-3, LAPIMUN GEMIX-3 or LAPIMUN MIX, LAPIMUN MIX vaccine against myxomatosis of rabbits, live.
In the event of a threat of infection due to the deterioration of the epizootological situation for GCC and myxomatosis, all rabbits that have reached 28 days of age and older are vaccinated according to a similar scheme, regardless of the timing of the previous vaccination.
Scheduled revaccination of rabbits is carried out every 8 months.
Vaccinated animals of the parent herd, with intensive use, are recommended to be revaccinated at an interval of 6 months.

Shelf life
24 months. The vaccine should be used within 3 hours after dissolving.
Storage conditions
Store vaccine in dark places, out of the reach of children, at +2 to +8° С.
A short-term, up to 3 hours, increase in ambient temperature during storage of the drug during vaccination does not negatively affect the quality of the vaccine.
Do not freeze the suspended vaccine component!
